Will this treat my PCOS?
No, and we will not suggest it might. Medication prescribed through MedicalWeightRx is for weight management. Questions about managing PCOS itself belong with the clinician who handles that part of your care. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA review for safety or effectiveness. Individual results vary.
Can I take this if I am trying to get pregnant?
GLP-1 medications are not for use during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding, say so clearly in the assessment — it directly affects whether the physician can prescribe.
I have been told my insulin is high. Does that change anything?
Share it in the assessment. Any diagnosis or lab result you have been given is useful context for the reviewing physician. It is not something we treat, and it does not guarantee approval either way. How long before I know if I am approved?
